I’m very creative and my mom is awesome at sewing and I’d really like to learn how to sew from her as well. I looove swim suits and would love to design my own and I have a ton of ideas already… I was just wondering if anyone knew what it would take to get something like my own swim suit line for girls started?? How much more do I need besides a creative mind, an awesome sewer, and some money??

I think you should come up with a business plan first. You have to realistically map out how much materials and labor will cost as well. You will need to figure out how you will be distributing these bathing suits or where you will be selling them. You will need to have unique designs or something that the consumer will want or the stores will want to sell, if you’re not going to be direct buy. I think you may want to come up with some designs, make a bunch of different suits and then set up some meetings with store buyers in order to have them take a look at your product. Hope this helps.
