What kind of swimsuit suits a curvy figure?

I’m in need of a new swimsuit for the summer that will look good on a uk ten/twelve. Any suggestions ?

Im a 17 year old girl and i would suggest this hope it helps.

Well if your curvy in the thighs try a mixed bikini. A dark color on the bottom visually trims your lower half as a printed top brings the attention to your upper body, Stripes fill put your top half to balance you out. Or you could try a cut out one piece. Crazy cutouts are an ultra sexy way to show off your figure while covering up your bottom half, the long strips of fabric draw the eye up and down, visually stretching you.

If you have a curvy tummy try a long tankini. Its a cute, comfortable way to wear a two piece. Plus the print helps camouflage any bulges. You can also draw the eye upward with bold prints on the tops.

If your Curvy all over try a apron tankini. The back is open, so it glides over your curves without binding you-and it lets you revel a little skin in a pretty way. Low cut tops shows off your bust. You can also try a deep v one piece the long neck line draws the eye down to elongate and slim your body while it accentuates your curvy bust line. Ruffles also draw attention to your neck line.

If you have Full Bust try a banded halter. the band under your bust- and the thick ties around your neck- gives you great support, so there no risk of falling out. Beads on the strings of the halter frame your neckline very pretty. Also there is a under wire top. Its a cut like a bra, so it holds you in place and creates great cleavage- so you can highlight your curves.

where do you carry your weight? if you carry it in the top half a one piece is a good bet. get the kind that has wrinkles (i know that’s not what that’s called but i’m having a bit of a brain lapse on that one :P) in the middle. that will help camouflage any weight in your midsection. if you carry your weight in the bottom half try longer bottoms and a halter neck. this will drawn attention to your arms, shoulders, and face. good luck shopping!

It depends, if you have a curvy tummy, curvy thighs, or an hourglass figure. But if you have a curvy tummy, swimsuits with ruched slides that lets you adjust how much you can show your tummy are great, also printed tankini tops that camouflages your tummy.

If you have curvy thighs, get high cut bottoms that reveal more leg, it makes them look longer and leaner. Bold cutouts cause they draw the eye up and away from your thighs. Swimsuits with a bright red band because that visually cinches in your hips and thighs. And leg openings that can be pulled up to make your thighs look long and lean.

Now, if you’re an hourglass figure try a monokini cause that will show off your body but still keep you comfortably covered. A matching swimsuit with small pattern emphasizes your balanced curves. Stretchy bands that gives you support on top and adjusts to your curves on bottom. A tankini with a build-in bra that won’t flatten out your curves. And try an A-line tankini cause that will skim down your curves without hiding them!

    I hope this helps you!

Seventeen magazine’s June 2009 issue, it helped me a lot! They have a chart of bathing suits for different figures and stores to get them at!
